1. Take the forgotten pill, and continue taking your prescribed hormonal pills as scheduled. If applicable, do not take any placebo pills. Start your next blister without a break.

2. Stop taking the pills contained in your current blister immediately. Take a break for up to seven days (including the day you forgot to take the pill), then start your next blister.
These options may also have an effect on your bleeding patterns, so be sure to talk to your doctor or nurse if you are concerned about changes to your cycle.
